MSc Robin Nilsson has a background in Addiction Research, with a focus on children and adolescents.

Project administrator
As a project administrator within U-CARE, Robin Nilsson will analyze how U-CARE’s research data can be stored and shared between researchers in a secure and effective way.

– I will also work with our research group’s internal and external communication, and assist in writing reports and ethics applications.

Background in Addiction Research
Before Robin joined U-CARE, he was employed as an administrator in a project about tobacco prevention, at the Centre for Epidemiology and Community Medicine in the Stockholm Region. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Health Science from Mälardalen University and a master’s degree in Public Health from Stockholm University. In his master’s thesis, he examined possible correlations between adolescents’ betting and their leisure activities.

– Addiction Research is dealing both with psychological and physical health, Robin explains. I am especially interested in addiction among children and adolescents, they are the future!

Enjoys floorball and museums
In his spare time, Robin likes to play sports, especially floorball. He plays in the Knäppmora AIK’s men’s team himself and is coach for the Knäppmora AIK’s women’s team. Another interest is to visit museums.

– The Swedish Museum of Natural History and the Swedish History Museum are my favorites. I find it interesting to learn about what have happened in history and how come things have turned out the way they have.
