Frida will give a presentation titled “Development and co-design of a behavioral activation intervention targeting depression among people with dementia for the Swedish context”.

Frida’s PhD is part of the INVOLVERA project, which aims to improve access to psychological support for people with dementia and depression and their informal caregivers. Psychological support is provided through a novel behavioural activation self-help intervention. The support has been co-designed with people with dementia, their informal caregivers, health and social care professionals, and non-profit organizations.

The focus of Frida’s PhD project is to optimize the implementation potential of INVOLVERA within the Swedish health and social care context.

The research is funded by Swedish Research Council (Dnr: 2018-02691), and the Principal Investigator for INVOLVERA is Joanne Woodford.
