Louise von Essen nominated to Academia Net!

The Swedish Research Council has nominated U-CARE’s programme director Louise von Essen to the European researcher database Academia Net, which promotes successful female researchers. She is one of 274 women who have been nominated by the Swedish Research Council.
– I am glad that the Swedish Research Council promote women’s scientific efforts, and I am grateful to be one of the nominees, says Louise von Essen.
Academia Net was created in 2010 and contains more than 3 300 researchers from Europe and beyond. The criteria for who will be appointed to the network include scientific qualifications, academic references, and independent leadership.
